Soundings Review, a magazine of creative writing, debuts September 2008. It publishes poetry, fiction and prose, including essays and interviews. Open to different styles and voices, Soundings Review is passionate about accessibility and depth, stories that make an impression on the first read, and with subsequent readings continue to elicit thought and understanding.

We welcome submissions---from emerging and established writers---that are well written and engaging. Please see our Writers Guidelines and consider making a submission. We also offer three contests with opportunities for publication and cash prizes.

Magazines survive by creating a community of readers. If you’re not a subscriber, please consider ordering your inaugural issue. The more readers we have, the greater circulation our writers enjoy.
